Capital Hersham Marble Fireplace is one of the most popular mantels in the Capital Victorian Fireplaces Collection. Hersham is inspired by the Victorian era. It was widely used in the 19th century. This fireplace works equally in both traditional and contemporary settings. It can be fitted around a stove and also with a gas fire. Dimensions:

The Hersham in Aegean Limestone is available in sizes 48″, 51″, 54″ and 56″. It is therefore suitable for different sized chimneys and walls.

The opening dimensions on the 48″ surround are 785mm width x 880mm height.

Opening dimensions on the 51″ surround are 865mm width x 890mm height.

The opening dimensions on the 54″ surround are 915mm width x 915mm height.

Similar to the 54″ version, the opening on the 56″ surround is also 915mm width x 915mm height.

This fireplace surround can also be made-to-measure if required.

Material options:

The Hersham mantel is made in Carrara Marble which is quarried in city of Carrara in Tuscany, Italy. This stunning looking stone gives each mantel a white or blue-grey look which as a result provides a delicate warm feel.

This fireplace can be carved out of one of Capital’s best selling stones, which is Aegean Limestone. Sourced from the Eastern Mediterranean, their Aegean Limestone surrounds are beautifully unique in character and each mantel has its own individual fossil formation.

This mantel is also available to order in Corinthian Stone which originates from the Western Mediterranean. This honed limestone has a rich sandy colour so therefore provides a delicate warm feel. Its background composition is magnified with unique small fossils and random sedimentary veining. A stone for those seeking a homely, cosy fireplace.
