Defra Aprroved & EcoDesign Ready:
Burley Thorncombe 4kw is Defra Approved and is therefore suitable for smoke control areas. Burley Stoves are also EcoDesign 2022 Ready which means it meets the current criteria for solid fuel stove appliances.
Catalytic Converters:
Catalytic converters are optional on a large number of Burley stoves. A stove with a catalytic converter would often have lower carbon monoxide levels and more efficiency than a stove without one. This is because it helps complete combustion by converting carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide. This releases more energy in the process. The catalytic converters are rated for usage for more than 10,000 hours since Burley’s research and design made sure they operate in the ideal temperature range. Burley’s catalytic converters will not need to be replaced with average use, unlike many other catalytic stoves.
